I can see light at the end of the tunnel. It might be the light of an oncoming train, but at least that’s something, isn’t it?
Despite the persistent feeling that I am already dead and have just neglected to stop breathing, I am somehow getting through every day. I haven’t slept well for three or four nights and I have given myself the mother of all stiff necks by sleeping in uncomfortable places. I can yawn but not stretch. 🙂
I’m going to spend the weekend completely flat broke because payday came and went and none of us got paid. That’s OK, though, because at least my health insurance is suspended due to non-payment by my employer. I’ve heard that only a fool fights in a burning house. Hello, my name is Scott, and I’m a fool!
There’s a nice airshow at Dobbins Air Force Base this weekend, I was hoping to go and see the Blue Angels perform, get myself horribly sunburned and dehydrated, and generally have a nice time watching airplanes do joyous, noisy, high-performance things. Maybe I’ll still get to go …
Here’s hoping the outlook improves!
